For most importers and private label brands, OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturing) is how a kitchenware line comes to life: you bring the design, branding and market knowledge; the manufacturer brings tooling, materials, compliance and production capacity. Here is exactly how the process works with us — from first inquiry to container loading — so you know what to expect, what to prepare, and where projects usually slow down.
| Stage | What happens | Your checkpoint |
|---|---|---|
| 1. Specification | You share drawings, photos, reference samples or an idea; we confirm materials, dimensions, colors, logo method, packaging and target certifications. | Approved spec sheet |
| 2. Sampling | We produce pre-production samples — including new molds and tooling when your design requires it. | Physical samples in your hands |
| 3. Sample approval | You test the samples; we revise until you sign off in writing. | Signed "golden sample" |
| 4. Mass production | Production runs at MOQ 1,000 pcs per item (mixed SKUs welcome) in our Yangjiang partner factories. | Confirmed order |
| 5. Quality control | In-line and final inspection against the golden sample; food-contact test reports (FDA, LFGB, EU) provided. | Inspection report |
| 6. Packing | Your custom retail packaging: printed box, Pantone-matched colors, logo printing, barcodes. | Packaging proof |
| 7. Shipping | FOB, EXW or CIF as agreed; export documents prepared for customs clearance. | Bill of lading |
The more precise your brief, the faster everything moves. A photo of an existing product with marked changes, a hand sketch with dimensions, or a sample you want improved — all of these work as starting points. Tell us the material (nylon, silicone, stainless steel and more), handle preference, color references (Pantone codes if you have them), how the logo should appear (logo printing), and which markets you sell to — that decides whether we certify to FDA, LFGB, EU standards or a combination. Based on the brief, our engineers confirm feasibility and we produce pre-production samples. If your design needs new tooling, we open custom molds at this stage, so the sample already reflects the real mass-production process.
This is the most important gate in the whole process. Test the samples the way your customers will: heat them, wash them, drop them, check logo alignment and color against your Pantone references. If something is off, we revise and re-sample — it is far cheaper to iterate here than after production is locked in. Only when you give written approval does the sample become the "golden sample": the binding reference for color, finish, function and packaging that mass production must match.
Mass production starts at 1,000 pcs per item, and you can mix SKUs to build a fuller line without over-committing on any single model. Production runs in our partner factories in Yangjiang, Guangdong — China's "Capital of Knives and Scissors" — facilities audited to BSCI, Sedex, WCA and TÜV standards. During the run we perform in-line checks; before shipment, finished goods are inspected against the golden sample and food-contact test reports (FDA, LFGB, EU as applicable) are provided for your records. Your products are packed in custom retail packaging and shipped FOB, EXW or CIF — exact lead times and freight are quoted per project, and export documentation for customs clearance is prepared with the shipment.
